Impact Partners

For each competition, Lever for Change partners with our Impact Partners to provide value-added technical support to finalists during the second stage of the process. These technical advisors can help organizations and teams build stronger plans and identify gaps or weaknesses in their proposed projects and systems. Our goal is to have all finalists emerge with strong, fundable plans enhanced with support from the technical advisors we provide during the competition process. Current Impact Partners include: Keecha Harris and Associates, Mobility International USA, MSI, Mt. Auburn Associates, and TCC Group.

LFC Partners

Lever for Change partners with donor collaboratives and philanthropic advisors to identify their members who are interested in funding competitions or the vetted proposals in the Bold Solutions Network. LFC partners may also encourage their members to participate as competition judges and to share information about competitions with organizations who may wish to apply. Current LFC partners include ICONIQ Impact, Asia Philanthropy Circle, and AVPN.

Donor Partners

Lever for Change partners with donors to connect them with nonprofits and problem solvers they can be excited and confident about funding. It does so by administering custom competitions and by matching donors with the highly-rated, vetted proposals that such competitions yield. Current donor partners include the Pritzker Traubert Foundation, the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, Earth’s Call Fund, Lyda Hill Philanthropies, and three anonymous donors.

Investors

Lever for Change’s four-year pilot is being funded with a $20 million grant from the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation and a $5 million commitment from Lever for Change Board member Reid Hoffman, who has committed to provide an additional $5 million for technology support, as needed.
