Catchafire is an online platform and service designed to address the wide-ranging and complex needs of nonprofits by connecting them with global talented pro bono professionals. In partnership with grantmakers and philanthropists, we do this by working with nonprofit organizations to help them identify their capacity needs, choose pre-scoped projects to meet those needs, and get matched with pro bono professionals who volunteer their time and skills to successfully complete projects that would otherwise go undone or would take valuable resources away from mission focus. We believe human capital is required to build well-functioning organizations, but limited resources and access to talent restricts a nonprofit’s effectiveness and sustainability. We know that equipping nonprofits with the tools and talent they need is key for positive social change.
