As an intern at Lever For Change, Lana serves as a special assistant to CEO Cecilia Conrad. In this role, Lana assists with research and development related to field building and outreach. Prior to joining Lever for Change, Lana engaged in nonprofit work at the Robin Hood Foundation. She has also worked in the social venture sphere as a Business Development Associate at ParenTeach, Inc, whose primary goal is to de-stigmatize, normalize, and build awareness of parenting education to create a healthier, safer, and more productive society. Lana presently serves as a board member of Anew, formerly South Suburban Family Shelter, in Chicago.

Lana is a soon-to-be graduate of Harvard University with a B.A. in Government, Economics, and Arabic. There, she has served as a supervisor at the Harvard Square Homeless Shelter, an advisor at the Small Claims Advisory Service for low-income communities, and an academic tutor at Suffolk Jail in Boston. She is currently a member of the Eleganza publicity board, Harvard's entirely student-run, charity fashion show.
