Lauren is a Senior Philanthropy Associate at Lever for Change where she assists in the identification, qualification, cultivation, and stewardship of donors who are interested in engaging with Lever for Change. In her role, she supports a team that provides expert advice and services to donors, whatever their interests, philanthropic experience, or staff level, to connect them to high-impact philanthropic investment opportunities. The Philanthropy Team works directly with donors and also engages with the wealth and philanthropic advisors that support many donors. Lauren is also responsible for the implementation and maintenance of Lever for Change’s donor database. Prior to joining the team in January 2020, Lauren was an intern with Lever for Change in the summer of 2019. Previously, she held internship positions at the Chicago Council on Global Affairs’ Global Food and Agriculture Program, the University of Chicago’s Center for Global Health, and Health Access Connect, a public health NGO in Kampala, Uganda. Lauren also has experience in private sector-driven sustainability initiatives as the previous President of New York University’s Net Impact, an international social impact business and consulting organization. Lauren is a graduate of New York University with a B.A. in Global Public Health and History
