Lever for Change challenges offer problem solvers a rare opportunity to think big and tell donors what interventions they think are needed to address the pressing social issues of our time. We believe that those working closest to the problem have the best solutions. This approach benefits funders as well: it offers them the opportunity to build equity into large-scale grantmaking
Help us build a stronger network of problem solvers by funding outstanding organizations in our Bold Solutions Network or by sponsoring smaller awards:
- Bold Solutions Network Support: For donors who want to provide longer term support to outstanding organizations from across our challenges, consider funding our Bold Solutions Network. Contributions to Lever for Change support all membership activities for the Bold Solutions Network. This includes a variety of expert capacity building opportunities, continued amplification of organizations to our donor network, external prize nominations, and access to our small grants fund.
- Annual Awards: Donors who want to highlight an issue can make named awards to organizations that have not been funded via our standard challenge process. Lever for Change will help you define eligibility criteria, and select awardees annually from the pool of eligible and highly rated Bold Solutions Network members. For example, in 2021, Lever for Change created the Swift Grants. This grant was created to support partnership building between Bold Solutions Network members to tackle the world’s most pressing problems on a small scale.
