Executive Summary
An estimated 2.5 billion people reside in areas with poor sanitation and/or unhygienic toilets. Those conditions, which include untreated sewage dumped in oceans and rivers, create environmental complications, water and energy shortages, and food insecurity. They also drive water-borne diseases affecting millions of lives and prevent historically disadvantaged populations from rising out of poverty.
ECOLOO, an innovative, sustainable, holistic, enclosed toilet system, is an ultimate solution. It is odorless, waterless, decentralized, sewage-free, energy-free, and maintenance-free. The two-tiered system collects toilet waste, treats it with bacteria, then recycles it into safe fertilizer for agriculture. By continuing to scale up ECOLOO'S use, we can prevent devastating water-borne diseases and support economic advancement for billions of people.

Accomplishments
ECOLOO achieved several significant gains in recent months.
In March 2021, the United Nations World Tourism Organization selected our system as a winner of its 2021 Sustainable Development Goals Global Startup Competition in the clean water and sanitation category. We also became one of UNWTO's Innovation Ambassadors.
In addition, we were able to reach new international markets and received additional orders after CNN’s Going Green produced a feature on our system. And we participated in an acceleration program funded and supported by the Swedish Energy Agency and Confederation of Indian Industry—which brought us together with potential partners.
