Executive Summary

Base 11 has accelerated STEM education, careers, and entrepreneurship for 12,400 high-potential, low-resource female and underrepresented students. In 2020, we launched the Next Frontier Initiative to impact 100,000 students by 2030. The Next Frontier Initiative squarely focuses on training and reskilling students and displaced workers, preparing them for critical-sector STEM careers predicted to be the fastest-growing, highest paid, most secure and influential over the next 20 years. With your support, we will increase STEM education, paid internships/fellowships, mentorships, career placement, wages, leadership opportunities, and public perception for 30,000 women in five years by scaling our highly effective model implemented through 43+ partnerships with community colleges, universities, historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs), and industries. We will double underrepresented female participants and partners in HBCUs and industry. In addition, we will increase leadership programs, entrepreneurship, and public perception of Women's Power and Influence; program accessibility (virtual learning/apps that foster community); and critical sector pathways and facilities.
