Guided by the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 78) in September 2023, Lever for Change invites you to learn more about 17 top-rated solutions from our Bold Solutions Network, a collection of highly-rated proposals submitted to challenges designed and managed by Lever for Change, driving progress toward the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This progress is illustrated by HarvestPlus, who, by the end of 2023, in support of SDG 2 – Zero Hunger, will have aided over 100 million people in Africa, Asia, and Latin America in consuming nutrient-enriched staple crops, which reverse micronutrient deficiencies, improve cognition, and physical activity, and decrease illness. Furthermore, in pursuit of SDG 3 – Good Health and Wellbeing, Piramal Swasthya Management and Research Institute, strives to end an estimated 500,000 preventable deaths among 104 million tribal and marginalized populations across India. These organizations, and the others identified in the below curated list, work tirelessly to tackle our world's biggest challenges, from poverty and hunger to environmental degradation and climate change, and exemplify the UNGA 78 theme of 'Rebuilding trust and reigniting global solidarity: Accelerating action on the 2030 Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals towards peace, prosperity, progress, and sustainability for all.'
